More Birthday Fun

Another great day today! Brent and I were awakened by a huge thunder storm and rain showers this morning. It was cool! We were shocked when we noticed that it was already 8:30! It looked like it could've been only 6:30 or 7:00 in the morning. It was overcast for most of the day... although, the sun did peek out for a couple hours around noon. We ended up having breakfast at the Little Kitchen restaurant in downtown Nampa. They always send a birthday or anniversary "b.o.g.o." coupon our way, so we each get a yummy breakfast for very little cash. After another relaxing afternoon working on pictures, we met more good friends for dinner out. And they, too, brought me a gift! A book: What's Your Poo Telling You? Classic. There's probably some valuable info in there now that we'll be parents! Although, I'm not looking forward to the day when we'll have to search through our kiddo's poo because of some tiny Lego piece or a penny he'll have swallowed!! (That seems to happen more often than you'd think... and I've taken several calls about that where I work.)
Anyhoo, back to the evening... Our friends had made reservations for us at The Melting Pot - a wonderful fondue eatery - in downtown Boise. Great food but, whew!... talk about spendy! Good thing we only do that once every 4 years or so! :) And once baby is born, we'll likely not get to do that for a very long time. Next time we'll have to try homemade fondue. That would be fun! ;)
