Something New

Here's something new that Mac decided to try last night! Made both mom and dad a little nervous, to say the least. Oh goodness... now the climbing truly begins...

Morning Play Time

Before even changing outta the jammies, we gotta log some play time! It's the only way to start the day off right you know! :) That just makes the rest of the day go much more smoothly. And I kept telling this silly kiddo that he was gonna bonk his head if he stood up underneath the table. Well, he would look up at the underside of the table... as if to gauge the distance... and then proceeded to stand up anyway. I think he just wanted to prove me wrong! He didn't bonk. In fact, he ducked just a little to look at me from under there - as if to say, "See mom! I got it under control." Funny boy! :)

Wood Floors

There can be a disadvantage to them. Especially if they're not cared for properly and treated like they should be. For instance, when I snagged my sock today on what I thought was a little sliver sticking up. I reached down to pick it up and I about raised the whole wooden plank!! It was not just a tiny sliver... it was a huge sliver!! That ended up leaving a nice sized gouge in the floor! Great. Now I'm concerned about Mac crawling around down there. Will he end up with slivers in his hands or knees? I guess I'll just have to keep long pants on him. I'm debating gloves. Dear Lord, please let us move into a new place soon! :)
