Brent's Work Christmas Party

Well, it just so happens that tonight is Brent's Christmas party. We're glad we got to attend both parties this year. Last year they were on the same evening so we opted for Brent's party. Then I ended up feeling kind of out of the loop with my co-workers. But each year, I realize again just how many people work out of Brent's office! His company parties are so crowded! They're fun though. It's neat to chat with all his friends... and, somehow, they know so much about me already! ;) This year, we sat with our friends from our small group: Brian & Jamie and Nic & Alejandra. Jamie's mom was visiting and she was able to attend as well. We had fun. Even Santa was there! If AFI employees were bold enough to get a photo with Santa, they received a scratch off ticket for a chance to win some cool prizes. Brent and I had our picture taken but Brent didn't win anything... and we have yet to receive a copy of that picture. Hopefully we'll get it soon so I can add it to this post. The line to get food was a little bit chaotic but everyone managed to make it through. And the dinner was scrumptious!!! We had lasagna, salad, and garlic bread - YUM! Then the employees played a rousing game of "Signature Bingo" to win the big prize: A Nintendo Wii. Brent actually came in third!! Oh well. Better luck next year. ;) It was a little surprising how quickly everyone left after all the prizes were handed out. Don't people like to stay a chat a little while? Well, the night was still young so we ended up going to Nic and Alejandra's place to visit some more. It was a fun evening!
