Reading is Fun!

Especially when you can do it all by yourself! Mac has been enjoying his Touch & Feel books and his Clifford books. They are the super sturdy cardboard books so, in case he should feel the need to munch on them rather than read them, they'll hold up quite nicely. This morning we read "Clifford's Bathtime" and then "Where Is The Big Red Doggie?" then Mac wanted to "read" them some more so he sat in his chair to flip through the pages. I can always tell when he's enjoying something because it tends to get quiet for a while. Until, of course, frustration inevitably sets in. And he's now started doing those loud, guttural, closed-throat frustration-screams. Mmm, fun. :)
