So, apparently there was a decorated trunk contest! And they awarded prizes in church this morning for the best-looking trunks last night! Here's what we, the 2nd place winners, received:
That's right. A life-like replica of a cockroach and a "Big fat hissie fit" apple-flavored, gummy snake!! Um. Ew. Although I'm sure Mac won't mind playing with the cockroach when he's a little older. But EW nonetheless. :)*
In other news, Mac is becoming a pro at pulling himself to a standing position! And he's been working on his "Bend and snap" routine. Ok. That sounded funnier in my head. Anyway, he loves bending over to pick things up now! It's so fun to watch him these days. He's learning quite a lot you know. Such a smart cookie, this kid! :) And such proud parents, we are!
