2 Month Dr Visit
Another Dr appt today. This was his first visit with shots. Ooo. Not good. He's a screamer! But it's the first set of many more shots to come. Yay me. :\ So, here's what happens: We check in, he gets called back, he gets weighed and measured, the Dr comes in the room to check him over and answer any questions we may have, and then the 'fun'... the nurse comes in to give the shots. Anyway, today he was 12 lbs, 7 oz. And just under 23" long. The nurse figures it out on his growth chart and lets us know: 75th percentile for weight and 50th percentile for height. He's our little average joe. ;) Head circumference is 40.75 cm. After the appt, once he's calmed down, we of course have to take him around the office to let everyone see him. We couldn't stay long though 'cause daddy still had to get back to work. Mac slept for the car ride home and for a long time even after we got home. He got unusually fussy around 3pm so I gave him some baby Tylenol. We'll see how the rest of the night goes. Hopefully he won't get rashy or feverish from those shots... I've heard that can happen.
